With over 16 years of experience, Joel is known for his strong project management and team organization skills, and a clear client focus. As EVP of Development and Construction, Joel Thomas is directly responsible for overseeing Tricor’s continued nationwide expansion in offering pre-development services through lease-up. Currently, Joel is managing entitlements, design, and construction on multiple projects ranging from $10m to $55m. Joel is involved with every aspect of the development process, and helps to lead investors and team members through the process. He will ensure that the budget and project goals are maintained and implemented throughout the duration of the project. Joel was the former AzASLA Vice President, a guest lecturer at ASU, and previously named as an AZ|RE's People To Know. He has been instrumental in managing and creating the vision for many highly visible projects, such as the ASU Omni Hotel, Westin Phoenix Downtown, Kenect Phoenix, Crescent Highland, Novel Rio, Vertex Student Housing, the Surprise City Center Master Plan, Litchfield Park City Center, High Street Fillmore Mixed-Use Multifamily, and many others.
