Daniel Mandel has extensive multifamily and single-family build-to-rent experience. As a Senior Production Analyst and Underwriter at KeyBank, Daniel originated over $2.4 Billion and underwrote over $1.0 Billion in multifamily loans for purchase by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, life insurance, FHA, and other lenders. As Vice President of Data Analytics serving on the investment team at BB Living Residential working with development partner Toll Brothers, Daniel underwrote nationwide land acquisitions for communities of build-to-rent single-family homes with development costs over $500MM. As a Real Estate Development Associate with TerraLane Communities, Daniel assisted in the asset management of (5) new Phoenix horizontal multifamily communities with development costs over $240MM and underwrote five (5) new development opportunities with development costs over $330MM. Daniel graduated from the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business with a BBA double majoring in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and Economics and an MBA in Real Estate with a certificate in Business Analytics. During his MBA, Daniel was a teaching assistant for three finance professors, Co-President of the Real Estate Club, and Wester Regional Leader for a $3 million real estate private equity fund.
